Green Wallpaper...

If you are looking for a green alternative to traditional wallpaper, there are now several environmentally friendly options available. Several manufacturers now make wallpaper from sustainably sourced wood and use water based inks which are much less harmful to the environment. You can also buy recycled wallpaper and paper made from flax. When choosing a paste, go for a non-toxic Methyl Cellulose paste. This is mainly made from wood pulp and cotton.

As is the case with many "green" products, you will usually pay slightly more for environmentally friendly wallpaper and paste, but we hope you will think the extra cost is worth it.

Of course, one of the easiest ways to make your wallpapering green, is to estimate the amount you need to buy accurately and so reduce waste...
